Jikiden Reiki Seminar

Masaki Nishina (仁科まさき)
 Jikiden Reiki Dai-shihan, Wester Reiki teacher,
 Ph.D in physics, UK ITEC aroma-thearapist.

He was born and raised in Tokyo. He used to work in academic fields completely unrelated to any therapies. He studied Physics in his undergraduate and engaged in a particle experiment with the world-largest accelerator in his graduate at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in the US. After earned Ph.D, he turned Astronomy and studied clusters of galaxies and observational cosmology by developing the world-biggest wide-field cameras, first as an assistant at National Astronomical Observatory in Tokyo then as an associate professor at Institute for Cosmic Ray Research of University of Tokyo.

He first learned Western Reiki in 2000 and started to work as a therapist and teacher in 2003. He became an aroma-therapist certified by UK ITEC and studied psychological counseling. He then learned Jikiden Reiki in 2005 and became dai-shihan (senior teacher) in 2010. He has taught more than 4,000 Western Reiki students and a few hundred Jikiden Reiki students so far.

He enjoys Sado as well as Japanese ceramic art and wearing Japanese kimono.
